The conversion process generates six files. The *.exe is a self-extracting executable which will install these compressed files in the correct locations. Four model files: C999xx_Andrew_Seftel.cmx, B999xxxxx_Andrew_Seftel.cmx, xskin-C999xx_Andrew_Seftel-HEAD-HEADB.skn, xskin-B999xxxxx_Andrew_Seftel-PELVIS-BODY.skn Two image files: C999xxxxx_Andrew_Seftel.bmp, B999xxxxxxxx_Andrew_Seftel.bmp

Select OK. This will automatically create the necessary folders to store your skin files if they don't already exist.Warning. Remember to include the space between the command line and the '-' to extract the files into correct directories. eg. the full name in the dialog should say\\\\Program Files\\Maxis\\The Sims\\GameData\\Andrew_Seftel.exe -dir.

You will see a DOS window open briefly whilst the installation process takes place. If you now explore your Sims\\GameData directory, you will find folders \\cmx3 and \\skins and the files will have been installed correctly. If you double click on Andrew_Seftel.exe from Windows Explorer then the skin files will be automatically saved into \\\\Program Files\\Maxis\\The Sims\\GameData folder. You should then move the four model files(*.cmx and *.skn) into the folder \\cmx3 and the two image files (*.bmp) into the folder \\skn .
